We're in "Full Swing" ... :) ...

So what if the temperatures are freezing and below, it's officially Baseball Season!  Whoo Hoo!! We are playing our first Pre-Season Tournament this week and even today I managed to make it to Huntsville High School to see Buckhorn High School Varsity play Florence High School (my nephew Jeffrey is a Senior and was the starting catcher today at that 4:00 game... I'll get a few of those pictures posted later!) and then jumped in my car to head to Hazel Green to watch my son Austin play on Buckhorn's Junior Varsity at 6:30 p.m.!! Whew... I made it just in time for game time!!  I must say as the sun began to slowly set the temperatures began to drop with it.  Tomorrow morning we will rise early and be at Sparkman High School to play a 10:00 a.m. game!  Did I mention... "We're in Full Swing!" ...

Happy Valentine's Day! and a Snowy  Sunday morning it started out to be.  I took my "Real" cameral along with me this morning even though my sweet Craig asked the question "Why?"... my only response was, "It's snowing, you just never know, we may see a deer in the snow or something..." Instead I used it in between services at my church home.  I just couldn't resist.  I just imagined the beautiful pictures of our snow covered campus and boy was I ever right!  Here are a few of the shots that I got and you can find more on my FaceBook Fan Page.

I'm working on the editing process which tends to be a lengthy process and always labor intensive.  I did manage to get an "Album" set up on my FaceBook Fan Page with a few Team Pictures and a few of the Players whose parents gave me permission to post them!  I'm very pleased with the results... You can check those out there... We had such a fun afternoon last Sunday, and we're looking forward to a great season even though we are likely to be playing in extra cold temperatures this year!!

Buckhorn Baseball Pictures This Sunday Afternoon!

This Sunday I have the privilege of taking pictures for an awesome group of young men!  (And my youngest son happens to be one of those!); the Buckhorn Baseball Team, from Buckhorn High School in New Market, Alabama.  My son is a Sophomore and will be playing on the Junior Varsity this year.  Austin has been playing baseball since he was old enough to hold a bat, and he said the word "ball" before he said "Momma" or "Daddy" ... that friends is the very truth!!  I am really looking forward to this opportunity.  My husband and I always look forward to baseball season and for me to get to take pictures in this particular way is just an added blessing & bonus!!  So guys... I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday!

Scottie Dogs and Snow!! :) ...

Only in Alabama can I go from taking pictures of a Tornado one week and snow the next... in the month of January!! ... Here are a few of the pictures that I took from last Friday's "Snow Day".
